Job Description

This position is intended for candidates seeking an information systems based career opportunity within E25 Test Engineering. The candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the temporary ship LAN known as the Design Validation Test Program (DVTP) Information System (IS). The network is MS Windows based and utilized by Ships Force and test engineering during the construction of Virginia Class Submarines. Duties involve the setup, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of servers, domains, client computers, and their associated network infrastructure. The position will interface with the ships force users. A key responsibility for this position is working with construction and project personnel to coordinate temporary infrastructure installation and reconfiguration for key events. Additional responsibilities include coordinating with government agencies and ships force to install government furnished software on the network. This position will require work onboard submarines under construction.

基本资格

Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of experience. Master's Degree and 1 year of experience. 4 years of related exempt experience can be substituted for Bachelor's degree. 8 years of non-related exempt experience can be substituted for Bachelor's degree. A relevant professional certification can be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.

Preferred Qualifications
