基本资格

Newport News Shipbuilding will be offering 2023 summer internships to students majoring in Engineering bachelor or master’s degree programs including Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, Nuclear, Systems, Structural, Civil, Computer etc. Students will have the opportunity to work 40 hours a week for 10 consecutive weeks during the summer months on a variety of assignments related to their major. Some engineering, technical, and waterfront positions may require the ability to physically access a wide variety of work sites, including those aboard ships under various stages of construction or overhaul, including the use of vertical and inclined ladders, and may involve limited kneeling, stooping, standing, etc. All applicants must ensure the information below has been provided when applying for the summer internship program. Applicants must meet the following criteria in order to qualify:
